Art Museum
On December 12, 2003, the American Association of Museums (AAM)
notified the Plains Art Museum that it had been granted accreditation.
Accreditation is the highest recognition a museum can receive.

Fargo Theatre
On September 15, 1925, the T.F. Powers and Company
construction firm began work on the Fargo Theatre at 314 Broadway,
formerly the site of a fruit store known as the Idlekope Building.

Moorhead became the site for a new normal school
in Northwestern Minnesota after State Senator Solomon Comstock introduced

The Children's Museum began in 1985 as a project
of the Junior League of Fargo/Moorhead and the Fargo Park District.
